Senior Associate, Treasury
Description
Working closely with the business on all aspects of borrowing, liquidity and Balance Sheet management to determine the most efficient borrowing at terms that meet strategic objectives for both the business and the overall company
Analysis of business unit cashflows to jointly develop and plan for dividends from the Life business
Capital management activities; which includes the execution of financing solutions for non-economic reserves of the Individual Life business. These solutions involve working with the business and external banks to develop structured transactions. This position has the opportunity to be involved with all aspects of these transactions, from determining deal terms to final closing.
Ongoing review and analysis of required capital
Review of reinsurance transactions and impact on required capital and dividends
Support and development of annual business unit capital plans
Closed Block Business; analysis, financial reporting and investment portfolio review and planning
Ongoing review and analysis of debt service coverage accounts and related covenant compliance
Legal entity management responsibilities for several of the company’s larger subsidiaries and its captive companies. This includes the review and analysis of liquidity, capitalization levels and planning and execution of dividends from the legal entity to the parent.
Development and support of various financial presentations to senior management (treasurer, CFO), rating agencies, state insurance departments and board of directors/Finance Committee
Desired Experience
At least 7 years work experience in finance, accounting or treasury field preferred, including some management experience
MBA or CFA preferred
Strong financial analysis and analytical skills
Familiarity with statutory accounting principals desirable
Strong project management skills
Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
Team player, but ability to be productive independently
Solid interpersonal and communications skills and ability to interact with all levels of senior management
Proficient in Excel

Compensation
$100,000 to $120,000 plus up to 55% bonus
