Financial Reporting Senior
Description
Support the monthly closing, consolidation and financial reporting processes:
Preparation and reconciliation of financial results and statements.
o – Analyze, adjust and eliminate intercompany transactions on a monthly basis.
– Perform monthly Balance Sheet
– Analyses as required.
– Record and analyze the inter and intra-company allocations.
Preparation of monthly variance analysis for subsidiary and Canadian Branch financial results
Analysis of fixed asset transactions and depreciation expense, other expense or income schedules in support of tax provisions.
Maintenance of Accounting Policies & Procedures.
Assist with requests from internal and external auditors.
Desired Experience
• Bachelors degree.
• Strong Accounting skills and experiences.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and mathematical skills.
• Good writing and detailed analysis skills are essential.
• 2-3 years public accounting experience, or 2-5 years Accounting experience in Financial Services industry, or 5+ years experience in general ledger and account analysis function.
• Professional Accounting Qualifications (CPA, CA, ACA/ACCA). CPA preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills. Intermediate Word skills.
