Accounts Payable Manager
Description
This position is accountable for managing the company's accounts payable department. This position will also have primary responsibility for various finance projects. Work will primarily be performed as a part of a team effort, including both original preparation and supervisory roles.
• Manage workflow and supervise accounts payable department staff with regards to inventory invoice payments, non-inventory invoice payments and travel and expense reimbursements.
• Implement, maintain and update, as appropriate, accurate systems for accounts payable payments, including streamlining of current processes, policies and procedures for the accounts payable department.
• Perform financial analysis of various expenditure accounts as needed, including preparing accruals and reconciling to the general ledger.
• Complete project management for projects worked on alone or with staff. Includes setting appropriate goals and deadlines, establishing written project plans, regularly monitoring project status and seeing the project to final completion including recommending solutions and outlining suggested courses of action. Projects include Travel and Expense Automated System, Purchasing Card Program, Corporate Card Program (American Express/Business Travel Account cards) and other miscellaneous projects.
Desired Experience
• A minimum of 5 years accounts payable manager experience, including project implementation and management.
• Solid communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Excel and Word.

$70,000 to $75,000 plus bonus
