Sr. Financial Analyst--M&A
Description
Provide analytical support (financial modeling, valuation, sensitivity analysis) and work closely with cross-functional teams for the execution of regional and / or corporate transactions. Support due diligence efforts on corporate transactions. This includes working closely with internal resources, data room management, and managing Q&A from prospective counterparties. Conduct market research and prepare presentation material on new markets associated with new business development opportunities. Assist in the preparation of management presentations for transaction review and approvals. Manage corporate database tracking comparable transactions and industry M&A activity. Assist in process improvement on M&A and new business activity by tracking and communicating opportunities via the M&A and new business process.
Desired Experience
Bachelors degree in finance, business administration, or related field with 4 to 7 years of experience in either (or a mix of) investment banking, public company corporate development function, valuation advisory services, or other related analytical environment related to corporate M&A and / or business development. Prior energy business experience preferred, but not required. Ability to develop financial models including discounted cash flow and IRR analyses. Knowledge of finance, accounting, and valuation principles. Ability to prioritize projects and deliver quality results within tight time constraints.
