Senior Financial Analyst
Description
An industry leader in the consumer products business is looking for a strong financial professional to support one of their brands.
• Provides brand support by preparing P&Ls (quarterly, annual, LRP).
• Analysis including mix/volume, price, cost of goods, COT/customer profitability, ROI of expense, proper accruals, correct timing of ledger booking.
• Works with multiple groups including marketing, sales, purchasing, internal and external auditors and key plant personnel. Provides the financial insight and management to a brand group
• Leads in the preparation and analysis of brand profitability while utilizing this information to facilitate key decisions with the brand group
• Develops annual and long range plan p&l’s for the brand group
• Updates forecasts on quarterly basis
• Complex analytical work and special projects
Desired Experience
• BA/BS degree in finance/accounting (MBA preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in finance/accounting.
• Seasoned financial professional with 5+ years of experience in the CPG industry with a demonstrated proficiency and proven track record of managing a complex group of brands, functions and people.
• Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
• Knowledge of SAP a plus.
