Senior Financial Analyst
Description
This individual will work directly with senior finance management as well as various partners within other business functions. This position will be required to develop and maintain a good rapport with departmental business managers to provide analysis on business operations when needed and provide financial and accounting leadership to supported business functions. An individual in this position must have the ability to think creatively and be able to recommend and implement process improvements when needed. They should be a strong team player with the ability to work independently too. This position will support monthly budget vs. actual variance reporting and preparation of executive monthly management reports. Additionally, this position will assist with compiling and analyzing annual Budget Data and quarterly forecasts. This position will support the monthly accounting accruals.
1. Prepare and analyze monthly Budget vs.. Actual variances
2. Assist in quarterly forecasts
3. Support monthly accounting accruals
4. Preparation of monthly management reports
5. Monthly department expense reporting and analysis
6. Analyze P&L Spending to understand key business drivers
7. Daily/Weekly Sales Reporting
8. Assist in yearly budget process
9. Assist in company strategic planning
10. Adhoc reporting/special projects
Desired Experience
1. BA/BS Accounting or Finance
2. 2-5 years Financial Analysis Experience
3. ERP system experience (SAP preferred)
4. Pharmaceutical Experience Preferred
5. Proficient with Microsoft Office products especially PowerPoint and Excel
6. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
