Senior Financial Analyst
Description
Provide analytical support on Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisition and Valuation modeling Responsibilities: • Provide analytical support (financial modeling, valuation, sensitivity analysis) to M&A and Corporate Finance • Assist in determination of key value drivers of the company's corporate valuation • Assist in evaluation of a variety of financial structures • Assist in providing data for earnings releases and other corporate functions • Assist in providing regular updates of key corporate valuation metrics • Complete ad-hoc projects and create reports as needed
Desired Experience
• MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Economics or Engineering preferred • Previous experience in valuation/project financing desired • Strong quantitative skills with a finance or statistical background and options theory. • Ability to prioritize projects and deliver quality results within tight time constraints. • Aggressive self-starter with an attention to detail. Willingness to have analytical work scrutinized due to large financial decisions being made on the basis of the analysis. • Proficient computer skills, including web-based applications, databases, information gathering (web) and modeling (Excel, VB) • Ability to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced, real-time team environment. • Knowledge of electricity pricing fundamentals, asset valuation, and transaction valuation would be valuable. • Must be comfortable at providing a 360 degree view of senior level management with a team. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in an open office team setting.

$75,000 to $95,000 plus bonus
