Human Resources Manager
Description
A rapidly growing internet retailer seeks a Human Resources Manager. This will be the top HR position in the company.
• Payroll administration and salary benchmarking
• Benefits administration and evaluation including insurance and financial programs
• Management of third-party human resources service provider
• Development and administration of expense reimbursement rules and procedures
• Assistance with recruitment and staffing
• Employee orientation, development, and performance review
• Maintenance of confidential employee records
• Employee relations, communications, services, and counseling
• Upkeep of employee handbook in adherence with employment laws and regulations
• Employee safety and safety training
• Evaluation and development of new human resources policies, procedures, and strategies to guide the Company through its fast growth
• Office management including facility security, upkeep, space planning, and supplies procurement
Desired Experience
• 4-year college degree (human resources degree and/or certification a plus)
• 3 to 5 years experience in a human resources function (combination of service provider and internal HR experience a plus)
• Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Excellent written, verbal and oral communication skills
• Highly organized and responsive to e-mails and voice mails
• Thorough knowledge of payroll and benefits administration
• Familiarity with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
