Accounting Manager

Description

A rapidly growing internet retailer seeks an Accounting Manager.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements in accordance with US GAAP. • Calculate and report key financial performance metrics on a monthly basis. • Assist in the preparation of financial statement footnotes for the annual report. • Facilitate completion of the annual external audit. • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash balances. • Ensure accuracy of inventory balances in accordance with US GAAP. • Assist in the development of new financial processes and internal controls, including automation of recurring tasks.

Desired Experience

X Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Accounting X At least 3 years experience in public accounting or 5 years experience in private accounting (some retail accounting experience preferred) X CPA a plus X Thorough knowledge of US GAAP and financial statement preparation X Strong computer skills and advanced user of Microsoft Excel
