Financial Analyst II
Description
The Financial Analyst primary responsibility is to work with business partners to develop financial forecasts.
• Financial and Operational analysis of actuals vs. budgets and forecasts, with an objective to assist management in understanding and improving financial results
• Participates in Management Reporting Process
• Updates and maintains the Oracle Accounting System and Outlooksoft Database with respect to actuals, budgets and forecasts for the business unit.
• Participates in receivables reporting and collections.
• Assists in the monthly accounting close process through preparation of revenue recognition and invoicing, reconciliations, journal entries and accruals.
• Special Financial Analysis Projects.
Desired Experience
Qualified applicants will have a bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and 3+ years of Finance and/or Accounting experience. Standard knowledge of GAAP, and of budgeting and financial analysis processes is also a must. PCs, spreadsheet and accounting software (Oracle) knowledge is required. Ability to work with managers throughout the company in analyzing financial situations; as well as good analytical, communication and organizations skills is also essential for success.
