Financial Analyst
Description
Perform simple to moderate financial analyses
Analyze and evaluate a business units operating results
Analyze options for company improvement on expenses and or revenues
Direct participation in monthly accounting close to assure accurate expense accruals and accounting postings
Provide independent financial support of divisional specific activities such as: calculation of salesperson commissions, validation of Sigma or Peak Performance bonus payouts, billings, bad debt position and preparation of operations review materials
Provide data for product line profitability
Assist Department managers with budgeting process: plan, develop, prepare, input and maintain business unit budgets including monthly, quarterly and yearly reports.
Forecast accurate and timely revenue, expense and/or capital expenditure projections
May perform other duties as assigned
Desired Experience
Typical entry level financial analyst position. Basic knowledge of financial and or accounting theory, and basic financial analysis. Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes and SAP. Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and speech. Must have good organization skills.
