Director of Finance
Description
The primary responsibilities of this position includes consolidation and reporting of a four plant network, strategic planning and modeling, and partnering with the Global Operation Leadership Team to assist in meeting the divisional goals. In addition, this position will be responsible for identifying and recommending process improvements to both the Finance and Operations' Leadership Teams, which includes internal control improvements.
Oversee the month end closing process, including fixed and variable account analysis, inventory, standard margin, inventory adjustments, headcount analysis, etc.
Oversee the preparation and issuance of accurate and timely monthly financial statements on both a management and statutory basis.
Review and consolidate annual standard cost roll process.
Ensure standard costs consistentcy across the network.
Review and consolidate the monthly projections, which includes process development and ongoing tracking/monitoring of results.
Develop the Global Operations' Strategic Plan.
Review, approve and consolidate the annual budget.
Work closely with Operations' Leadership Team in developing and reviewing key performance indicators (KPI).
Develop the annual transfer pricing multiples and review adequacy of the division's statutory profits periodically.
Review and approve capital expenditure requests (CER), including ROI, IRR and discounted cash flow calculations.
Review and approve disposal of asset requests (DAR).
Responsible for assets (inventory) controls, including cycle count programs.
Drive employee engagement and staff development.
Review Sarbanes Oxley documentation and testing.
Assist in the annual audits performed by both Internal (Corporate) and External auditors.
Desired Experience
Minimum of 15 years of accounting experience with 5+ years managing people.
Strong computer skills are required.
Self motivated and team oriented.
