Senior Financial Analyst

High visibility role providing financial leadership and guidance in a dynamic start-up environment of a recently acquired, fully-integrated, high growth operating company of a Fortune 100 Company. The Commercial Operations Senior Financial Analyst will act as the primary point of contact providing financial support to the Selling and Clinical Services Departments. This role will partner cross-functionally to analyze business opportunities and develop recommendations & solutions to a variety of problems with varying levels of scope and complexity.
• Partner with Sales to deliver revenue forecast (+33% growth in 2008) and coordination of sales and budget forecasts associated with annual business planning process and quarterly updates.
• Significant involvement on sales project teams related to sales force / clinical services field expansion and incentive compensation structure.
• Analysis and tracking of sales force and clinical team expenditures and development of regional P&L reports.
• Preparation of business recommendations based on financial analysis.
• Identification and elimination of non-value added activities in the Finance Department to achieve process improvement in the area of budgeting and reporting.
• Ensure compliance to Sarbanes Oxley requirements
• Monthly and quarterly closing activities to include providing timely sales analysis and commentary to management. Responsibilities also include budget analysis and BVA reviews with business partners.
• Opportunity to provide guidance and supervise FLDPs, interns and coops.
Desired Experience
Bachelors degree required (prefer major in Accounting/Finance); CPA, CMA, MBA a plus. Three or more years related business experience required. Strong PC skills, particularly in Excel, General Ledger and other computer applications. Candidate should possess excellent analytical, conceptual, communication and business partnering skills. Individual must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
