Senior Financial Analyst--R&D
Description
This position provides financial insight into direct research costs for the oncology business.
- Budgeting and forecasting of clinical study expenses
- Maintaining study cost models for clinical studies
- Recording actual study costs to the general ledger through the monthly closing process
- Reporting actual results to study manager and study teams
- Reviewing financial terms of clinical and consulting contracts
- Reviewing study invoices and purchase orders
- Participating in contract negotiations with clinical research organizations
- Performing other duties as required
Desired Experience
- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or MBA preferred
- 4+ years of accounting/finance work within the pharmaceutical industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Officer Suite (specifically Word and Excel)
- Must posses strong analytical skills
- Interpersonal communication and team skills are important
- Experience in pharmaceutical accounting is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of SAP and TM1 preferred
