Senior Auditor
Description
Fortune 300 company seeks a Senior Auditor. Under the direction of the CFO, this role will be part of a new rotational program. After 2 years in the audit group, the candidate will have the opportunity to rotate into an accounting or finance position.
1. Performs audits at assigned business units, activities and functions. 2. Conducts preliminary survey of audit areas to define scope. 3. Reviews and revises audit programs where necessary to ensure complete analysis of assigned areas. 4. Prepares audit memos detailing findings for review with appropriate management personnel. 5. Prepares and assembles working papers for assigned audits. 6. Provides timely status reports to Vice President and/or Audit Director on progress of activities. 7. Prepares audit report. 8. Presents findings to local management. Note: This position requires some out of town and local travel.
Desired Experience
3 – 5 years in Big 4 Public or National Accounting firm or Internal Audit with large services/computing firm. Strong expertise in large financial institutions, mutual funds, benefits processing preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required. CPA and MBA are pluses.
