Business (Financial) Analyst
Description
Position will be supporting both the Flavors and Perfumery & Ingredients Business Controllers for North America. The position will require a strong analytical skill set, which involves using numerous data sources to deal with a high volume of financial transactions.
• Provide detailed product pricing and cost analysis to assist the business in maximizing profit margins.
• Prepare quarterly customer commission and rebate payment calculations.
• Assist the North American Business Controllers in the preparation of quarterly reporting packages to senior management.
• Assist Business Controllers in development of financial packages to support strategic objectives for both the Flavors and Perfumery & Ingredients Business Teams.
• Prepare monthly sales and expense reports to assist Business Controllers in preparing Flash Sales commentary, and quarterly sales commentary to senior management.
• Provide detailed analysis on accounts receivables, and assist the ZNA Finance team in the aging and analysis of old receivables, and/or establishing the appropriate reserves.
• Exercises a high degree of adaptability when dealing with complex work environment.
• Candidate will need to communicate effectively to varied audiences, and have the ability to articulate ideas in a clear manner.
• The Candidate will need to demonstrate self-confidence and sound judgment when dealing with complex issues/processes, and should be able to suggest creative solutions.
Desired Experience
• BS degree in accounting, or finance with 1-3 years of hands on experience.
• Demonstrated accounting experience with financial analysis expertise.
• Demonstrated experience in financial modeling.
• Ability to analyze complex business issues.
• Proficiency in various software applications and financial reporting systems including: MS Excel, SAP and/or Oracle, and MS PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated ability and desire to continuously drive process improvements and streamline activities.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Experience in handling multiple tasks.
