Finance Manager
Description
Support the business initiatives of the assigned Business Unit (e.g., Marketing, R&D, Sales) by providing both proactive and reactive financial insight, analysis and perspective.
· Provide financial guidance and assistance to the assigned Business Unit.
· Prepare business plans, including annual operating plans, periodic forecasts, strategic plans, and product introduction financial plans.
· Create and translate operating plans and forecasts into financial plans and projections to insure that the organization achieves its financial targets; recommend appropriate corrective action as needed.
· Prepare appropriate price-volume analyses to identify market trends and profitability impacts of market place factors.
· Provide timely explanations of variances between actual results and forecasts/budgets; provide management with direction for achievemtn of corrective action, where necessary.
· Perform a financial review of all CER and DAR requests relating to the Business Unit.
· Coordinate the development, monitoring and implementation of inventory objectives for Business Unit.
· Assist in the preparation of and explanation of the P&L for the management team.
· Generate financial reports for Business Unit.
Desired Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required.
MBA and/or CPA preferred.
Combination of both Public & Private accounting experience preferred.

Compensation
$90,000 to $110,000
