Director, Operations Finance
Description
· Manage financial reporting (concentrating on fixed and variable mfg. expenses), standard cost setting and other ancillary accounting support functions. Identify and recommend process improvements to both the Finance and Operations Leadership Teams. Educate the manufacturing group on all new internal control improvements and assisting during process implementation.
· Complete month-end close procedures, including journal entries, fixed and variable account analysis, headcount analysis, and absorption analysis.
· Develop the standard costs (including labor, overhead, and materials) on an annual basis.
· Complete monthly projections, including process development and ongoing tracking/monitoring of results.
· Assist in the development of the annual budget.
· Complete departmental spending reporting and variance analysis.
· Work closely with Operations Management and support staff to review budget performance.
· Assist in the development of the capital expenditure requests (CER), including ROI, IRR and discounted cash flow calculations.
· Ensure effective implementation of plant cycle count program.
· Drive employee engagement and staff development through performance management, hiring, compensation administration and discipline/termination.
· Oversee the preparation and issuance of accurate and timely monthly financial statements on both a management and statutory basis.
· Complete Sarbanes Oxley documentation and testing.
· Assist in the annual audits performed by both Internal (Corporate) and External auditors (E&Y).

Compensation
$120,000 to $140,000 plus bonus
